!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
So as many of you have probably seen. I’m looking for a new car. This time not for me but for the woman. She’s been driving this 98 protege for the past 2 years I got from a coworker and it’s just not nice enough for the woman I may one day call my wife. So in hopes of keeping her happy I’m looking at a new car. I’ve already posted a 240sx and a volvo which were shot down from the opponauts so I’m trying something a little different.. I may go buy this today !!

ProTip: to one day call her “my wife” I would start by discontinuing the use of the term “the woman”, just speaking from experience here. Anyway....the bronco...a huge NOT fan of the bronco II. They are reliable enough but they are tiny inside, get crap mileage and are actually pretty scary to drive if things get a little dicey. (short wheelbase, tall, light, crazy twin I suspension.)

I’m in the Austin area too; what’s your price point, and what kinda car are you after?
(EDIT: just to clarify, I’m not a dealer, I don’t work in auto, and I just happen to trawl CL for interesting cars on occasion)

I’m sure you send 4-6 hours a day on CL like I do but to explain our interest is difficult . I suppose any car or truck you feel would be approved by oppo. I don’t mean to say this as if I care what oppo thinks but because it explains our taste in the most accurate way possible.

Man, your local craigslist is garbage! No one knows how to take a picture.
Anyway, I don’t think the Bronco would be a step in the right direction, and might just make her angrier. How about this Focus? Take off the dumb stripes and polish the headlights and it wouldn’t be that bad.

I had a Bronco II as my first car. It was awful, awfull, awfull. As a final “fuck you” from the car to myself, the transmission died as the new owner was pulling out of my driveway in it. Fuck that car.
